Christina Marchand

Christina Marchand - Bothwell, ON


Christina is a devoted volunteer in both her community and her school. She has been a Rotary Youth Exchange Student Ambassador since 2005 and has tutored for Learning Disabilities of Chatham-Kent. She has also spent her time volunteering in a nursing home, helping out with Halloween for Hunger and coaching and refereeing soccer. At school she is actively involved in the Mental Wellness Team, providing information to fellow students about reducing stress and dealing with depression and the Shadow Program, assisting new international students. Christina has also been involved with the Free the Children Brick by Brick Campaign and was a Rotoract Executive Member. Christina has been highly involved in hockey most of her life and has been captain or assistant captain 6 of 12 years she has played, she was selected for the German Olympic farm team “Wild Hornets” in 06/07.

Christina is currently studying Health Sciences at the University of Waterloo.
