Catherine Woodford

Catherine Woodford – Hr. Main, NL


Catherine has dedicated her volunteer efforts to a number of organizations in her community, most notably the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation where she acted as a Senior Ambassador and the Canadian Diabetes Association where she acted as a representative for Newfoundland. She also gives her time as a Shaolin Kung-Fu Assistant Instructor. At school Catherine has volunteered with the Recycling Blitz, the Decorating Committee, Rotary Interact Club, Social Justice Club, Environmental Club and as a peer tutor. Athletically Catherine has participated with the rowing, achieved a black belt in Kung-Fu and participated with the wrestling team where she won bronze for female heavyweight in regionals and went on to provincial competition.

Catherine will be studying Physics and Mathematics at Memorial University of Newfoundland.
