Darren Cole – Toronto, ON


Darren has dedicated much of his time to Kids against Canadian Hunger, of which he is the founder. Last summer he participated in a Me-To-We Volunteer Trip to China to teach English and help build schools. He has also volunteered at the Avondale Seniors Residence and with KIDPACKS where he raised nearly 1 million dollars in donated goods packed into 1000 backpacks for needy children. At school he was part of the Youth Sarcoma Initiative Club and the President of the Helpers Helping Homeless Club. Athletically Darren has achieved his Level 1 Skiing Instructor Certification and National Lifeguard Certification. He has also participated in Ultimate Frisbee, Volleyball, Karate and Golf.

Darren will be studying Life Sciences/Bio Chemistry/Kinesiology at Queen’s University.
