Jacob is strongly dedicated to volunteering both in the community and at school. He currently gives his time to the Special Olympics as an Assistant Basketball Coach. He has also volunteered with Buddy Club where he mentored children with special needs in drama and sports and has spent time as a volunteer snowboarding instructor. At school Jacob in Stop the Stigma Mental Health Awareness Week, Youth in Control and the Model UN. He has also acted as the photographer for special events and as a Peer Tutor in the resource room. Athletically Jacob has been involved in a variety of sports including Hockey, Dragon Boating, Snowboarding, Cross Country Running and Swimming.

Jacob will be studying Biomedical Mechanical Engineering at the University of Ottawa.
