Matthew Barr

Matthew Barr – Deux-Montagnes, QC


Matthew is a very active volunteer dedicated to helping his community, particularly with the ALERT Academy (Air Land Emergency Resource Team) where he has participated in a wide variety of disaster aid trips including Haiti, Florida and Louisiana. He has also been active as a Church Youth Group Leader, a summer camp counselor, a visitor for elderly people at a nursing home and a fundraiser for Operation Sunshine.  At school Matthew gives his time as a Peer Tutor and as a member of the Vanier College Christian Association. He is also a member of the AA Basketball team and has participated in 24 hour endurance hikes.

Matthew will be studying Nursing at Vanier College.
