Monique Begy

Monique Begy – Kitchener, ON


Monique is a very dedicated volunteer in her community. She has volunteered her time with the All Star Reading Program, the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada’s Annual Super-Cities Walk for MS, the Canadian Cancer Society’s Relay for Life and the Terry Fox Run. She also volunteers as a Swim Ontario Official. At school Monique has been a leader with the Peer Ministry Youth retreat and a member of the Athletic Council. Athletically Monique has achieved a lot of success in swimming. Most notably she qualified for the Canadian swimming Olympic trials in 2008 and was a triple medalist in an international competition in 2008.

Monique will be pursuing a Bachelor of Arts at McGill University.
